I am Blogging from Leigh’s Couch
I am. Because she told me to.
I slipped out of the habit of casual blogging when my laptop was in the shop, and it’s hard to get going again. Especially this week, since Dave has been in Beijing on business and we’ve been spending even more time with Leigh and her kids – tonight, in fact, we’re here for our second sleepover of the week. It just felt too much like vacation to blog, I guess! I haven’t even been taking many pictures.
So I promise Leigh – can you see this, two feet away on your laptop screen? – that I will be better about blogging our little lives. I’ve been doing lots of fun planning for our secular Christmas – which books to read, movies to watch, crafts to make – and I’ll share some of that. I will. After I get off Leigh’s couch.

You’re just too cute. Thanks for taking such good care of us while we were without the other half of the grown-up set.
When you stop blogging, I can’t remember what I’ve done with my life! You have to blog so my kids will remember their childhood!
