I don’t know where he gets it, really!
This afternoon, JediBoy and BabyGirl were cuddling on the couch. He loves to build forts, or caves, or hideouts from couch cushions and pillows and draw her into them. Today, he was using our big pillows as a blanket and cuddling up with her.
Then he said, “Aren’t we cute?” And when I agreed, he followed that with, “Why don’t you get your camera?”
After I’d taken a picture or two, he proclaimed, “You can put this on your blog, and everyone can see.”
So here they are.

In addition to sitting around exuding cuteness, JediBoy has whipped through a few math lessons, read a huge pile of books, made purple dye from cabbage (not Phoenician snails, though he wanted to go out in the yard and look for some snails to try this with until I explained that after last night’s frost, he’d have a hard time finding any snails above ground), and he carried on a lengthy conversation with me about whether or not there are male unicorns. A search on Google images convinced him that there are, but I’m glad I was perusing the thumbnails first, because there are some racy male unicorns out there!
He’s obviously feeling much better after a couple of days on antibiotics. That’s good, because we have a busy weekend planned!
