T-Ball
Tonight was JediBoy’s first t-ball game of the season.
He was so excited! He’s been participating in team sports - soccer and t-ball - for almost two years now, and he loves the fun of meeting new kids, rooting on a team, and playing his part.
He had one smiling fan…
…and one eating fan. Everyone is surprised at BabyGirl’s appetite. She really does eat almost constantly when she’s awake!
And yes, the rain did come, so the kids only played one inning. But the joy was worth getting drenched!

Happy May Day! It’s chilly here, and turned gray this afternoon, but we were still able to really enjoy our trip to Heather’s and a nice long rest afterwards. Tonight holds the promise of JediBoy’s first t-ball game of the season, if the rain holds off.
JediBoy always loves going to Ethan’s house, especially since both Ethan and Ben are now in love with Star Wars too. They had a great time playing Star Wars and having lunch in the fort. Both of my kids were a scared of their dog Reuben, who tends to be more excitable than their other dog, Casey. BabyGirl would scream when the dogs even looked at her, and JediBoy didn’t want to be anywhere Reuben was after he got jumped on, but by the end of the afternoon JediBoy was alone in the yard with him, tossing balls and saying, “We’re buddies now!” Heather thinks we should get a small dog in place of the Great Dane JediBoy is dreaming of!
The kids spent a lot of time outside in the back yard and then in the front, riding bikes and playing hockey and visiting the neighbor’s horses.
We had so much fun!
