JediBoy came to me around 9:30 this morning asking for the book The Shoemaker Extraordinaire. I told him I’d look on the nursery shelves if he checked in the living room. I didn’t find the book he wanted, but came down with about ten books on winter / snow and one called Punxsutawney Phyllis. He found the book he wanted so we sat down in front of the heating vent with pillows and blankets and read.
And read.
And read.
And finally stopped for lunch 3 hours later.
We read 27 books…

Then we started up again, and went for about an hour and a half with two brief pauses - a phone call from PisecoSis and the delivery of a box of Daedelus books! We read 7 more books before my voice turned too scratchy - and I do have choir rehearsal tonight, after all!

Now I’m typing away and resting my voice and JediBoy is watching a Pooh video with the sound turned off.
